LOCAL MEINEKE CAR CENTERS GET AAA APPROVAL
First in Weston and Sunrise to pass rigorous evaluation for prestigious auto club designation
(Weston & Sunrise, FL…) On June 1, 2005, Meineke Car Centers in Weston and Sunrise became the first
in their local areas to receive the AAA Auto Club South’s prestigious “Approved Auto Repair” designation.
AAA is the largest, most prestigious auto club in the world, offering quality automobile and travel services, as
well as discounts to its club members through affiliate dealer AAA Club Membership Programs. AAA Auto Club
South is the third largest affiliate of the AAA federation with over 3.8 million members in Florida, Georgia and
the western two-thirds of Tennessee.
According to AAA, Approved Auto Repair is a benefit designed to help direct a member to a pre-screened,
reputable automobile repair facility. Once approval is granted, facilities agree to provide reliable high-quality
service performed by ASE certified technicians, perform free maintenance inspections for members who
schedule service while delivering outstanding customer service.
The two newly AAA Approved Meineke Car Care Centers offer a wide variety of maintenance and repair
services for both domestic and foreign automobiles, including: brand name tires and parts, factory mileage
scheduled maintenance, full service and repairs, window tinting, detailing, and custom exhaust.
With the newly designated Sawgrass and Weston Meineke Car Care Centers, local AAA members can now
take advantage of the club’s approved auto-repair and maintenance service benefits, saving them time,
money, and miles.
Prior to this AAA approval, “Club members in Sunrise and Weston had to drive or have their car towed a
minimum of twelve to fourteen miles to the nearest AAA approved facility in order to use their membership
benefits,” explains Charles Bonfiglio, owner of both Centers. “For more than ten years, AAA had been looking
in there areas for repair facilities worthy of approval, so these approvals will make it very convenient for local
club members.”
“AAA is among the toughest automotive affiliate dealer programs to be part of,” he adds. “They’re very
selective and have very tough requirement guidelines.”
To qualify, Bonfiglio agreed to have their staff, equipment, appearance, and scope of services at both facilities
undergo stringent criteria compliance and detailed AAA evaluation. As part of the AAA Approval process both
locations prior customers were poled to validate that their service experience exceeded the minimum 90% or
better customer service satisfaction rating.
Both facilities were recognized in the AAA approval letter as being the finest automobile service centers in the
area” and the approval was granted in June 2005.
